About us

The founders of the restaurant have visited several regions of Italy multiple times and Naples has served as a point of interest during these travels as well. The atmosphere, the culture and naturally the cuisine enchanted them and because of that a dream was born: taking the charm of Naples to their hometown, Szolnok so they could not only enjoy it but pass it on as well. And that's how Amo la pizza was born.

Their passion become an important part of their life; they have been in the business of pizza making and have been recreating Italian flavours since 1996.

Our work is assisted by Raffaelle Caiazzo (known by the nickname of Rafi within the restaurant) who is a Neapolitan chef working in Hungary since 2022 in our team to help us have a closer relationship with the flavours of his homeland. He became a professional chef in the most popular restaurants of Naples while perfecting the techniques of traditional Italian doughmaking and he even had the opportunity to learn from the most professional bakers. We eagerly tasted this knowledge and that's how the essence of Amo la pizza was born!

We would like to thank everyone all the help and support we have received through the way here. We give a special acknowledgement to our Italian colleagues who are helping our work from afar. Our goal is to be considered as one of the best and therefore we aim to serve you one of the best as well.

My name is Raffaele Caiazzo, but everyone just calls me Rafi. I was born and raised in Naples. I have already visited many countries, and since 2022 I have been working in Hungary with the Amo la pizza’s team. My passion is cooking and introducing you to the flavors of my home! I always try to prepare a variety of dishes for you.
